What the following titles have in common \u2013\u00a0if nothing else \u2013 is that they have all figured, either as excerpts or in their entirety, on the reading list for one or more installments of the course<\/a>.\u00a0For convenience, the references provided are to English editions\u00a0(and first editions when there are several to choose from)\u00a0or, when no such editions\u00a0are available,\u00a0with rough translations of the titles within square brackets. Predictably, academic literature predominates here, but there are also examples of fiction (Hylinger), films (Ak\u0131n, Clay Mendoza, Sokurov) and even a radio novella (Florin):<\/p>\n
