She received her education\u00a0from\u00a0the Istituto Universitario d\u2019Architettura (IUA) in Venice and, as a Fulbright Scholar, from\u00a0Columbia University in\u00a0New York.\u00a0Formerly\u00a0a\u00a0visiting professor at\u00a0Syracuse University, University of Texas and\u00a0Kansas State University, she currently\u00a0teaches\u00a0at the\u00a0Universit\u00e0 di Ferrara. In addition to\u00a0numerous built projects, her writings have appeared\u00a0in\u00a0<em>Casabella<\/em>, <em>Detail<\/em>, <em>Parametro<\/em>\u00a0and other journals.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-348 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/haglund7-e1472196900302-150x150.jpg?resize=150%2C150\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/haglund7.jpg?resize=150%2C150 150w, http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/haglund7.jpg?zoom=2&amp;resize=150%2C150 300w, http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/haglund7.jpg?zoom=3&amp;resize=150%2C150 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>Magnus Haglund is an author and art critic based in Gothenburg, where he also teaches at the HDK Academy of Design and Crafts. In particular,\u00a0his course <em><a href=\"http:\/\/hdk.gu.se\/sv\/nyheter\/2016\/hostkurs-2016-skrivandet-som-konstnarligt-verktyg-75-hp\">Writing as an artistic tool<\/a><\/em>\u00a0shares much common ground with the one\u00a0under evaluation here. Among his many books, one in particular deserves mention in this connection:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.samladeskrifter.se\/product\/den-nakna-staden\/\">Den nakna staden: m\u00e4nniskor och platser i G\u00f6teborg<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(<em>The naked city: people and places in Gothenburg<\/em>), a collaboration with the German photographer Stefan Schneider.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-124\" src=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/mari_hvattum_mg_7888.jpg?resize=150%2C150\" alt=\"mari_hvattum_mg_7888\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/aho.no\/en\/ansatt\/marihv\">Mari Hvattum<\/a>\u00a0is professor of architectural history and theory\u00a0at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO), Norway. After studies in Trondheim, Bergen and Cambridge, she has taught at a range of universities across Europe\u00a0and also acted as\u00a0vice president of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eahn.org\">European Architectural History Network (EAHN)<\/a> in\u00a02010\u20132014.\u00a0At present,\u00a0she\u00a0heads\u00a0the research project <em>The Printed and the Built: Architecture and Public Debate in Modern Europe<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-128\" src=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/ptl-fabrizio-boni_o-cp-340x360.jpg?resize=150%2C150\" alt=\"ptl-fabrizio-boni_o-cp-340x360\" srcset=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/ptl-fabrizio-boni_o-cp-340x360.jpg?resize=150%2C150 150w, http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/ptl-fabrizio-boni_o-cp-340x360.jpg?zoom=2&amp;resize=150%2C150 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.petertlang.net\">Peter Lang<\/a>\u00a0is professor in architectural theory and history at the Royal Institute of Art (\u201cMejan\u201d)\u00a0in\u00a0Stockholm, Sweden, where he conducts post-graduate research courses in architecture, design and multi-media communications. Educated at\u00a0Syracuse University and New York University, Lang works on the history and theory of post-war Italian architecture and design. He has been a member of the Rome based urban arts research group <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osservatorionomade.net\">Stalker<\/a> since 1997.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-127\" src=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/6471979521_6a70cfa4b8_z.jpg?resize=150%2C150\" alt=\"6471979521_6a70cfa4b8_z\" srcset=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/6471979521_6a70cfa4b8_z.jpg?resize=150%2C150 150w, http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/6471979521_6a70cfa4b8_z.jpg?zoom=2&amp;resize=150%2C150 300w, http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/zbzj.info\/mat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/6471979521_6a70cfa4b8_z.jpg?zoom=3&amp;resize=150%2C150 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gta.arch.ethz.ch\/staff\/philip-ursprung\/curriculum-vitae-en\">Philip Ursprung<\/a>\u00a0is professor in\u00a0the history of art and architecture\u00a0at\u00a0ETH Z\u00fcrich, Switzerland.\u00a0He has studied and taught in\u00a0Geneva, Vienna, Berlin, Z\u00fcrich, Basel\u00a0and, as a visiting professor, at\u00a0Columbia University in New York as well as\u00a0the Barcelona Institute of Architecture.\u00a0Currently, he leads\u00a0the project <em>Tourism and Cultural Heritage: A Study on Franz Junghuhn<\/em> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fcl.ethz.ch\">ETH Future Cities Laboratory<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0committee will\u00a0gather in Gothenburg on December 5, 2016 for a public seminar at the Chalmers School of Architecture.
